The Virtuous And Divine Purpose And Use Of "White Power"

Truth to tell, there is nothing wrong with "White Power." Or "Black Power." Or Mongolian Power. Or Jewish or Palestinian or Liechtensteinian Power either. The only issue is how it is used. Power is a gift from God Himself. Jesus specifically said that He would give us "power." Luke 10:19 says "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." God gives us power to be used "over all the power of the enemy." The problem seems to arise with mankind when we turn and use (or abuse) that power over one another, instead of the enemy.

White folks kinda rule the world - no doubt about that! The wealth, the powerful militaries, the control of natural resources, the storage and flow of information is, in the main, possessed, directed, and controlled by Caucasians in America, Europe, Australia, and other remote places where White people live and work. People think that is intrinsically bad, but the fact is that the Semitics, Persians, Asians and Africans have all had their bite of the apple of world hegemony as well. I guess now it is White folks' turn - fine.

But know that hegemony is an awesome responsibility, and that every group that ever had it before and lost it, never got it back. Not the Kingdom of Judah or Israel. Not the Ming Dynasty or the Empire of Japan. Not the Assyrians or the Babylonians. Not the Spaniards, the Ottomans, or the British Empire. Not Songhay or Mali or Timbuktu, or the Incans or the Mayans or the Romans or any other tribe, empire, dynasty, or hegemon got back what they lost or frittered away. It is as if God Almighty Himself gives a group of people a chance to do right by the world He created, and when they clown on Him, He doesn't trust them anymore and He just moves on. Some are totally obliterated from recognition as a distinct society, like the Babylonians. Some are chastened and brought low, like the British Empire, the Empire of Japan, and Germany in the wake of Nazism. Others are partitioned like the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). Some go from being great powers to being nations of only local or slight regional significance, like Egypt after wicked Pharaoh. But the point is they never get back where they were.

It will take a lot to dismantle and destroy America, and no outside nation or force in the world can really do it in their own solitary strength. America will have to destroy itself, and it seems we are well on our way. It will take a lot of greed and hate, a tremendous amount of arrogance, perversion, cruelty, mercilessness, cowardice, and terrible decision making to bring this nation to its knees, but it has become increasingly clear over the past ten years that we "have what it takes" to do so. In 2nd Kings, Chapter 17, we see how and why it all ended for the Kingdom of Israel (and not long after, for the Kingdom of Judah). Their leaders kept pissing God off. They wouldn't listen, they wouldn't obey, they misled the people, they were arrogant, faithless, cowardly, and corrupt in their dealings with God and one their citizenry. They had chance after chance after chance to turn it around, but they just wouldn't. The Israelites went from making one false God "golden calf" in the Sinai Desert and causing 3000 of their people to die (that's about the same number of people that died on September 11th), to making two golden calves at Bethel and Dan! (What?!) Somehow, the leaders of our great nation have concluded that we are going to benefit from lying to people, mistreating the poor and dispossessed, greedily cutting taxes for those who are wealthy and government services for those who are not, and by putting a "Jesus stamp" on it and call it blessed, even though the Word of the Lord says we should do none of those things. Ain't no way we aren't all going to reap the pain that we have sown, whatever our race.

This nation needs the use of White power, to whatever White Americans have it, and it needs it bad. But it needs just White power and it needs Godly White power. And it needs White power that doesn't try to quash the power God gave others to give the illusion of increasing their own. What history has shown us over and over again is that when the hegemon's power is not used in a Godly way to build broad community, spread love, and sow peace, God turns that same power against those to whom he has given it, to dismantle communities and bring conflict and destruction to the people and to the shores of the nations in which those arrogant and disobedient people reside. In other words, all hegemons first lose power by using that same power to decimate others, not realizing they are actually destroying themselves.

If you possess White power, by all means, please use it. Place it on the altar of God in your hearts to seek His direction in how it should be deployed "over all the power of the enemy." But I'm not your enemy, and black, brown, red, or yellow skin tone doesn't make me or anyone else one. I'm your neighbor, your fellow citizen, and maybe, your brother in Christ, so don't use your power to overpower me, because in the end, you will be the one to lose your "power."

White power should be about White courage, White ingenuity, and White humility before the Lord; about using that same courage that sent White men to the moon to stand against injustice and the oppression of the poor and powerless. About using that White ingenuity that created the United States Constitution to engineer systems of engaging both nature and other people that promote broad prosperity while putting checks and balances in place that combat the darker nature of mankind. And about using that same humility of spirit and willingness to submit that made God choose Europe as the base from which to propel His Gospel worldwide and activate it now in this arrogant, sin-sick world to focus on serving rather than being served. We are all going to have to give an account for how we have engaged this world, but none more so than the leaders of it, the hegemons. White folks can run the world if they like, but if they run it into the ground, it won't be the people they overpowered that they will be judged by and held accountable to - it will be the Lord.
